About the Job
This role requires a strategic thinker who can ensure both technical excellence and commercial success while managing multiple projects simultaneously. As a Senior Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing high-level project execution strategies, managing and mentoring project engineers, and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Your leadership will drive strategic decision-making, risk management, and problem-solving across large-scale Data Centre implementations.
About You
- This role offers a hybrid remote arrangement in Ireland, requiring attendance at the Dublin office as determined by the team's schedule.
- A minimum of 7 years in project management or coordination, with extensive experience in handling large-scale Data Centre projects. Proven ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of project engineers, ensuring efficient resource allocation and fostering professional growth. Strong leadership skills with a focus on motivating and guiding teams toward success.
- Expertise in developing and implementing high-level project execution strategies that align with both client objectives and company goals. Skilled in strategic decision-making, particularly in project scope development and risk management.
- Proven track record of establishing and maintaining senior-level relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Experience representing the company in high-stakes negotiations and presentations.
- Strong background in overseeing project budgets and financial performance, with a focus on implementing cost control measures and improving profitability. Experience with Value Management/Value Engineering techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards, local regulations, and company policies, with the ability to ensure compliance across all managed projects.
- Passion for leading innovation initiatives in project delivery methods, with experience leveraging emerging technologies and best practices in Data Centre design and construction. Familiarity with CDE platforms for document management and collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of providing high-level performance updates to senior management and offering strategic insights for company-wide improvements.
Your Day-to-Day Activities
- Lead and oversee complex Data Centre projects simultaneously, ensuring both technical excellence and commercial success while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Develop and implement high-level project execution strategies that align with client objectives and company goals.
- Manage and mentor a team of project engineers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring efficient resource allocation across projects.
- Drive strategic decision-making in project scope development, risk management, and problem-solving for large-scale Data Centre implementations.
- Oversee project budgets and financial performance, implementing cost control measures and identifying opportunities for profitability improvement.
- Ensure successful completion of projects within budget, applying Value Management/Value Engineering techniques throughout the project lifecycle.
- Establish project resource requirements and lead, motivate, and manage project teams effectively.
- Maintain and manage project budgets, developing them based on inputs from the project team.
- Establish and maintain senior-level relationships with key clients and stakeholders, representing the company in high-stakes negotiations and presentations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and company policies across all managed projects.
- Implement and optimize project management methodologies, including the use of CDE platforms for document management and collaboration.
- Provide regular high-level performance updates to senior management, offering strategic insights and recommendations for company-wide improvements.
- Lead innovation initiatives in project delivery methods, leveraging emerging technologies and best practices in Data Centre design and construction.
- Ensure that actual cost expenditures align with the Development Budget, seeking prior approval from the client for any unbudgeted expenditure.
- Demonstrate leadership, team skills, self-confidence, and effective decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
